Spider-Man (Tobey Maguire) swings back into action with this, the second film directed by Sam Raimi about Marvel’s Web-Head. I’d previously covered the first one for the blog for a previous list, so I jumped right into the second one for the Sci-Fi Chronicles book. Young Peter Parker is having a tough time, he…

The second tale in what is known as the E-Space trilogy finds the Doctor (Baker), Romana (Lalla Ward), Adric (Matthew Waterhouse) – though they don’t know he’s stowed away on the TARDIS yet – and K9 taking on vampires! My journey with the very enjoyable, and informative, Sci-Fi Chronicles book continue with this tale of exploration into the soul, heart and depth of emotions… George Clooney heads into deep space under the guidance of director by Steven Soderbergh and producer James Cameron as they take on Stanislaw Lem’s classic science fiction novel that…

Game of Thrones: Season 5
All it takes is for me to hear the stirring opening theme by Ramin Djwadi, and I get very excited about returning to Westeros. Now, thanks to HBO, I can journey back there to that war-torn land, and binge-watch all of Season 5’s episodes, and get ready for the approach of Winter, and Season…

The adventures continue with the Sci-Fi Chronicles book, as I kcik back and enjoy Kurt Russell and James Spader in this science fiction actioner that seems to be heavily influenced by Chariots of the Gods, and wonderfully marries Egyptian mythology, with action, and space opera. Long before the successful television series, Colonel Jack O’Neil…

Four great directors give their own interpretations of four classic stories from Rod Serling’s fantastic television series in this big screen adaptation that is the next stop on the Sci-Fi Chronicles.
