Tonight on Space, Sarah (Tatiana Maslany) decides to take the fight to Rachel. And who can blame her after the way the last episode ended with the car she and Daniel (Matthew Bennett) are in got totalled?! This week picks up right from that moment, and doesn’t let up for the entire run of the episode.
In all honesty, this is my favorite episode of the season so far, and that’s saying something, because this series continues to amaze and wow week to week.
Art (Kevin Hanchard) is spending some time on the edge of the Prolethian compound watching Henrik (Peter Outerbridge) and getting glimpses of everything that is going on there. And there is some terrible things going on there! Despite the fact that Helena may not be everyone’s favorite, or most stable character, the things that she went through at the end of the last episode and through the course of this episode, makes her more sympathetic… at least for a while.
There’s a great moment when Art simply stands stunned as something happens, and it provides a laugh, but also lets his character know that there is so much happening around him that he doesn’t know of.
My dear Cosima is getting worse, and worse, and she and Delphine (Evelyne Brochu) conduct an autopsy on a deceased clone. That thought just got right into my head, and made me feel so bad for Cosima. She could be dying, and here she is cutting someone open who looks just like her, seeking answers… that has got to be completely unnerving.
Allison is having a bit of a rough time after her tumble off the stage during her performance in the musical Blood Ties, she awakes to find herself in some strange surroundings, and it doesn’t take anyone long to figure out where she is, well, except for maybe Allison, she’s been admitted to a rehab facility! This is going to be an interesting story arc.
Mrs. S (Maria Doyle Kennedy) meets up with a human trafficker (Roger Cross) who she seems to have known very well back in the UK., and that all important photo from the project in the 70s gets some more investigation!
The episode rolls along at full throttle, and the climax features Sarah breaking into Rachel’s apartment, which is tense to start with, but gets amped up even more when a couple of surprise guests show up!
I don’t want to spoil anything but, the final minutes of this episode, Tatiana’s performance of Sarah is simply amazing, you can feel the panic just spilling off of her, almost to the point where you’re almost afraid for her sanity… Watching it, I was almost a wreck myself. She really gets put through the ringer before the end of the episode, and we leave her in a really terrifying spot.
I need to know what happens NOW!!!
You can watch Orphan Black tonight on Space.
