I love Clive Barker’s writing, it’s dark, disturbing, and gets under your skin. When I first heard about his directing a film, I was anxious, and honestly, couldn’t watch some of the sequences… Even now this film can creep and trouble, and it’s still amazing, bloody, unnerving, and while the series has continued and go on, and rumor has it there is a reboot coming, the first two are the strongest entry into the series!
