This is it, the final two episodes of the series. And for those of you who weren’t there, all we had were these two episodes. We didn’t know there was a wrap up mini-series coming. We just had everything that happened in these two episodes.
So brace yourselves.
The third part of We’re So Screwed – La Bomba was written by Mark Saraceni and was broadcast on 3 March, 2003.
Scorpius (Wayne Pygram) has betrayed everyone, and they’ve been captured. He tells them that every avenue of escape has already been blocked. They’ve blocked D’Argo’s (Anthony Simcoe) ship, and Crichton’s bomb. He’s saved them, in his way. But can he be trusted? To escape, Crichton (Ben Browder), Aeryn (Claudia Black) and the rest are going to have to go along with his plan.
Scorpius’ plan is to destroy a garden full of flora that are essential to Scarran abilities and evolutionary growth. If they are destroyed, it could cripple the entire species.
Rygel (voiced by Jonathan Hardy) and Noranti (Melissa Jaffer) confront the Stark (Paul Goddard) who has thrown in his lot with the Scarrans, in an attempt to free him and restore his good self.
And is Sikozu (Raelee Hill) finally going to make her play? She’s special, genetically engineered to destroy Scarrans. But before the episode ends, there’s one more surprise coming…
Among the Peacekeepers, Braca (David Franklin) makes a decision that ousts Grayza (Rebecca Riggs) from power, but may make them less of a threat then the Scarrans.
Deals are struck, realizations are made, and things don’t all play out perfectly, but an escape is made. And we’re racing towards the series finale, and it’s going to be a helluva ride.
This is fast-paced, filled with action and character beats, and it feels like every character, primary and secondary, get a chance to shine.
I’m going to miss this show.

Bad Timing opens with ‘finally on Farscape’ after a barrage of clips from the past hour seasons. Written by David Kemper, the series came to a close on 10 March, 2003.
Braca has stopped Moya’s escape. He’s intercepted a Scarran transmission, they are headed for the wormhole, preparing a conquest of Earth because their plant grows there.
So what’s going to happen? Crichton decides to go big. Let’s destroy the wormhole, and prevent anyone ever from getting to Earth.
Crichton is struggling not only with the fact that he may never be able to get home again, but also what his future with Aeryn will be. He’s anxious and Scorpius is exploiting that. But they eject Sikozu and Scorpius into space for Braca to pick up while Moya starbursts away. They’re going to have to find a way to stop the Scarran plan.
Everyone is going to have to come together to fight the fight. Emotions are high. Character is front and center, and everyone gets a chance to shine.
Pilot (voiced by Lani John Tupu) is able to help Crichton with his plan, and Moya may be able to help close the wormhole. But there are going to be sacrifices. And so many moments. So, so many. Just wow. Blindness, pregnancy, war, kisses, relationships, joy, pain… this show!
I love that Crichton records himself doing the show’s opening. This episode is top-notch, amazing, filled with reveals and that final gut punch.
Holy crap that ending. Can you imagine how gutting that was to viewers? Sure I can dig into The Peacekeeper Wars next weekend, but we didn’t know it was coming – not to mention that it was almost twenty months before it aired.
All we were left with was heart ache and a To Be Continued which we wouldn’t think would ever resolve because of the series cancellation. Wow.
