I loved Star Trek: Strange New Worlds when it debuted. The first season introduced us to new and familiar characters and put us aboard a beloved, but different, starship, the Enterprise. Anson Mount leads the cast as Captain Christopher Pike, and the first season won its way into hearts of fans and critics across the…

Star Trek: Picard (2020) – The End is The Beginning, and Absolute Candor
Picard (Patrick Stewart) attempts to make amends with Raffi (Michelle Hurd) as he seeks a ship to take him in search of Burce Maddox and Soji (Isa Briones). We see how their relationship fell apart when the synthetic attack on Mars disrupted and caused the cancellation of Starfleet’s aid to the Romulan Evacuation, causing Picard’s…
Star Trek: Picard (2020) – Remembrance, and Maps and Legends
Jean-Luc Picard (Patrick Stewart) returned to the screen on 23 January, 2020 with the launch of Star Trek: Picard. Making It So (2023) – Patrick Stewart
Whether Patrick Stewart knows it or not (I’m fairly sure he doesn’t) he’s been an essential part of my life since my formative teen years. He’s always been there in some form or another, and he’s helped me through a lot of tough times. A story he and his fellow castmates of that super popular…

The final ten episodes of the first season continue the story of Dal (Brett Gray), Gwyn (Ella Purnell), Jankom Pog (Jason Mantzoukas), Zero…
Star Trek: The Next Generation – The Children of Hamlin (1988) – Carmen Carter
Space, the final frontier… So here I am three novels into the original novels released by Pocket Book (Simon & Schuster) and to date, this one feels like the best one I’ve read. Although I think when I read this when it first came out, it probably didn’t catch my interest as much as it…
Star Trek: Picard – Season 3 Blu-Ray
What could arguably be the best season of Star Trek featuring The Next Generation crew, comes to physical media today from Paramount Canada; Star Trek: Picard – Season 3 hits Blu-ray and DVD, and the ten-episode series is a perfect bow not only on the past seasons of Picard, but of the entire Next Generation…
