Ben Browder pens John Quixote, an incredibly far out episode with lots of great visuals.
While Sikozu (Raelee Hill) may or may not have helped Scorpius (Wayne Pygram) escape his holding cell on Moya, Crichton (Browder) and Chiana (Gigi Edgley) find themselves trapped in inside a game, while heading back to the leviathan in a transport pod.
They meet strange incarnations of the friends, including Stark (Paul Goddard) as the games information avatar, and Aeryn (Claudia Black) as a lispy princess that Crichton must kiss to end the game.
There’s also some wonderful images, as well as great dialogue, nods to all manner of pop culture including a Crichton version of Max Headroom.
While Aeryn and D’Argo (Anthony Simcoe) try to track down Scorpius, before an approaching command carrier can retrieve him.
Crichton and Chi finally make it back, only to find that Scorpius has taken over Moya, and has neural control over Pilot (voiced by Lani John Tupu) and some of his friends.
Can Chiana and Crichton find a way to save the day, and will the game help them? Or are they still in the game? and when Crichton and Chiana reach the end will they be able to play to win, and will they get out soon enough to stop Scorpius from escaping?
This one is an absolute delight. It has a fun surprise at the end, and shows that Browder knows how to tell a really engaging story.
And Scorpy didn’t escape! D’Argo and Aeryn were able to catch him. But Aeryn and Crichton still have so much to sort out…

Written by Chris Wheeler, I Shrink Therefore I Am, first debuted on 2 August, 2002.
Crichton and Noranti (Melissa Jaffer) are returning to Moya after a grocery run. We see that Crichton is taking a drug that Noranti has mixed for him, to help him get over Aeryn.
Pilot reveals that Moya has been taken over by bounty hunters, under Peacekeeper orders, to capture Crichton. The rest of the crew are already in bonds, so it’s going to be up to this odd pair to figure out how to save the day.
We also see that Sikozu is definitely coming around to Scorpy’s way of thinking, or at least finds herself quite taken with him. Obsess much? And how was he able to elude capture? Crichton comes across him slinking around.
The bounty hunters can hear their prisoners thoughts, and are able to anticipate Crichton’s actions. So how will he save the day?
Oh, and to make things interesting (is it?), the baddies have a… shrink ray? So it shifts from Die Hard, to Honey, I Shrunk the Kids. And how is Crichton going to rescue his friends and stop the baddies? He’s going to Last Man Standing them, and play them against one another.
It’s kind of a silly episode. While the bounty hunters are cool looking (Crichton calls them cylons) and there is lots of fun pop culture stuff, overall, especially after the coolness we’ve had so far, not to mention that last episode, this one isn’t the best.
