The episode opens with the reveal that yes, Scorpius (Wayne Pygram) is still out there. He’s also working on wormhole tech and weapons.
From there we jump to the Crichton (Ben Browder) aboard Moya, who is determined to hunt for a wormhole that seems to be in the area. Unfortunately, as so often happens with our crew, something else happens to make things even worse.
Written by Justin Monjo, Losing Time first aired on 29 June, 2001.
When Moya passes through a cluster, Crichton sees a strange light being that seemingly passes through him, and he awakes covered in blood.
Soon, he, D’Argo (Anthony Simcoe), Chiana (Gigi Edgley), and Jool (Tammy Macintosh) all discover that they are suffering from missing time. And Pilot (voiced by Lani John Tupu) isn’t acting like himself. In fact, he’s possessed by a light creature and is determined to hunt down the other light being that is hiding amongst the crew.
Tensions run high, especially when its revealed the creature in Pilot has no intention of leaving.
Intercut with that is Scorpius’ research at a wormhole, which has progressed to biological tests… with unfortunate results.
And speaking of unfortunate results, Chiana, following her possession by the light being, has gained a new ability… premonition.
You know that’s not going to be a great thing in the long run.
It’s a bit of a familiar episode, we’ve seen possession stories in the Farscape universe before, but they always seem to be executed well, and this is definitely done very well.
Crichton struggles with the loss of Aeryn (Claudia Black) to the other Crichton and begins to suspect that maybe he’s the duplicate, and Scorpy is back haunting his mind.

Relativity lets us rejoin the Talyn crew. Written by series creator Rockne S. O’Bannon it debuted on 6 July, 2001. It brings Aeryn face to face, violently with her mother, Xhalax (Linda Cropper), who is leading the retrieval squad after Talyn.
Aeryn and Crichton have been enjoying some time together, and everyone aboard Talyn knows it. But things aren’t going to last.
Talyn is hiding out on a swamp planet, but Xhalax has found them. While Stark (Paul Goddard) and Rygel (voiced by Jonathan Hardy) try to deal with a vine infestation on the wounded leviathan, the rest try to deal with the retrieval squad.
Xhalax is joined by a trio of Colartas, who we’ve seen are capable of shape-changing, but ends up being captured by Aeryn. Meanwhile, Crais (Lani John Tupu) and Crichton are working to elude the pursuing Colartas.
And Scorpy makes an appearance here as well, suggesting that Crais isn’t being completely honest with Crichton and Aeryn! Oh and Xhalax doesn’t seem to have much maternal affection for Aeryn. So you know there is going to be a lot of pain coming her way. Especially when Xhalax starts doling out the reveals.
In the end, horrible things happen, and Aeryn is hurt again, but through it all, Crichton is by her side, and will be there for her when he is needed.
Oh, and poor Rygel, suffering at the hands of Stark’s ham-fisted surgery!
