Daniel Jackson (Micheal Shanks) shows up naked on a distant planet, and Jonas Quinn (Corin Nemec) begins to figure out the tablet and its references to a Lost City.
Fallen was written by Robert C. Cooper and launched season seven on 13 June, 2003.
O’Neill (Richard Dean Anderson), Jonas Quinn, Carter (Amanda Tapping) and Teal’c (Christopher Judge) are investigating some of the gate addresses that were downloaded into O’Neill’s brain when he was taken by the Ancients.
They are stunned to discover a resurrected Daniel Jackson who has no memory of them, and wants nothing to do with them. What if he doesn’t like who he was? After some convincing from Carter, SG-1 and Daniel return to Stargate Command.
What will it take to restore his memory? And what will this mean for Jonas Quinn? And where is this Lost City? And where is the hopeful weapon they can use to stop Anubis (David Palffy)?
In the meantime, they have to find a way to stop Anubis’ own superweapon which includes launching an X-302 (with Carter and O’Neill aboard) to take it out in Star Wars fashion. Target data is provided by Jonas and Daniel, while Teal’c works to contact Lord Yu (Vincent Crestejo) to get his aid against Anubis.
They also have a plans to replace the tablet they found with information about the Lost City with one of their own creation to hide the truth about it from Anubis.
Lots going on in the season opener. Seven years in, and the show is still capable of raising the stakes, and making us invest in these characters we love traveling with.
In fact those stakes and characters include Jonas Quinn ending up in Anubis’ possession, which means bad news all around, and the season’s first To Be Continued!

Homecoming is meant literally in this episode for both Daniel Jackson, and Jonas Quinn. Anubis, having interrogated Jonas has arrived at the man’s homeworld.
For now, Daniel is still free aboard Anubus’ ship, skulking around, looking for a way to help. Teal’c is being held by Yu’s jaffa. Yu’s goa’uld has grown old, it is one of the oldest, and is losing its way, making use of the sarcophagus on a daily basis, but definitely feeling the constraints of old age.
And on Earth, the SGC has gotten the call from Jonas’ homeworld that they are under attack by Anubis. He wants the naquadria, and their gate, and he’ll probably wipe them out given the chance.
Written by Joseph Mallozzi and Paul Mullie, Homecoming was first broadcast on 13 June, 2003.
SG1, read as O’Neill and Carter head to Jonas’ homeworld to aid them, despite past conflicts with them, and are able to contact Daniel. Can they come up with a plan to save the planet? And what about stopping Anubis?
As the group works to help the Kelowans, Daniel is able to help Jonas escape from his holding cell. The pair have a discussion about what the future holds for Jonas now that Daniel is back with SG-1.
Things look dire, but the arrival of a fleet of Goa’uld who are eager to put an end to Anubis for their own reasons bring a fast action-packed end to the episode.
The episode allows us to say goodbye to Jonas, who decides that he can finally return home, and perhaps help his people unite once and for all.
SG-1 is reunited, and ready to face what lays ahead.
