Oh oh! There are problems for Jonas Quinn (Corin Nemec)! While on a mission to a Goa’uld controlled world with the rest of SG-1 he falls ill and is taken from active duty. But not before he has glimpses of the immediate future.
Written by Joseph Mallozzi and Paul Mullie, this episode, the penultimate of season six, first aired on 14 March, 2003.
Dr. Fraiser (Teryl Rothery) is worried about his prolonged exposure to naquadria. In the course of her exams discovers that Jonas Quinn has a brain tumor, and Carter (Amanda Tapping) believes that this may have been caused by genetic manipulation by Nirrti (Jacqueline Samuda).
Fraiser recruits one of the best neural surgeons on the planet to come in to consult, but Jonas Quinn resists the efforts. He’s determined to prove that he can be of use with his visions. But, as he gets worse, his visions increase, and he sees that SG-1 can be walking into a trap set by Mot (Victor Talmadge), the Goa’uld ruling the planet.
Will knowing about it and warning people change things, or cause them to happen?
As Jonas Quinn goes under the knife, with all of his warnings shared, O’Neill (Richard Dean Anderson) and Teal’c (Christopher Judge) alongside SG-15 find themselves in an all out battle for survival.
Will things play out as Jonas Quinn saw them, or will SG-1 beat the odds? And will Jonas recover in time for the season finale?
Full Circle holds a few surprises. O’Neill encounters Daniel Jackson (Michael Shanks) in an elevator. His friend warns him that Anubis (David Palffy) is heading to Abydos. But will Jackson go too far and lose his position of ascension with the Ancients?
Written by Robert C. Cooper, Full Circle closed out the sixth season of Stargate SG-1 on 21 March, 2003.
SG-1 reunites with Skaara (Alexis Cruz) who has also seen Daniel as they learn Anubis is heading to Abydos in search of a relic, that the Goa’uld believes could make him all powerful.
Can SG-1 find it first? How bad will things get? And what will Daniel decide to do?
As the odds seem to get increasingly stacked against SG-1 as they hunt for the relic and work to hold Jaffa at bay, Daniel will be forced to make a decision based on compassion. And Daniel learns a horrible secret about Anubis, he’s partially ascended!
There is some planting of information for season seven’s arc about an ancient city.
Daniel attempts to make a deal with Anubis, which the Goa’uld will, of course, go back on which means Abydos may be in trouble, and a number of Goa’uld system lords may be dead. And the Ancients interfere when Daniel attempts to confront him.
SG-1 is able to make a last ditch escape thanks to Daniel, but the cost grows higher and higher for all involved.
When SG-1 is able to return to Abydos, and discover they’ve all been saved by the ancients, by ascending them. So we’ll have to say goodbye to Skaara and this small part of the Stargate Universe.
But what of Daniel? Season seven beckons.
